Terms and Conditions

  1. The www.resortgetaways.com.au website Terms and Conditions are deemed to be the full conditions and are subject to change.
  2. Information on how to claim and redeem your Resort Cheque, accommodation, package holiday and cruise rates and booking information form part of these Terms and Conditions. By participating in the offer you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
  3. The Retravision Resort Getaways Promotion offer is only available from Retravision stores in Australia.
  4. These Terms and Conditions relating to the promotion and redemption of this promotion, including rates, are subject to change or withdrawal without notice.
  5. To be eligible to receive a $500 Resort Cheque you must spend a minimum $500 at the ticketed or catalogue price in-store in the same transaction at any Retravision store in Australia. Multiple $500 Resort Cheques will be awarded to customers for each $500 spent in a single transaction e.g. if you spend $1000 on full price items in a single transaction you receive 2 x $500 Resort Cheques. This promotion offer is not available with Miele or Asko appliance purchases.
  6. Resort Cheques up to a maximum value of $5,000 will be awarded to you if you purchase a solar solution from Retravision. Where the value of your solar solution is less than $5,000, multiple $500 Resort Cheques will be awarded to you for each $500 spent in a single transaction on your solar solution.
  7. The Resort Getaways promotion offers resorts and holidays at the guaranteed "Best Deal Guarantee" before applying your Resort Cheques towards your chosen holiday. If you find, at the time of booking, a lower rate than the Resort Getaways "Valued at" for the same booking, we will match this price and reduce the amount of Resort Cheques required to complete your booking. If you find a lower rate, you will be required to show proof to your reservations consultant of the lower rate found, when making your booking.
  8. The "Valued at" is the best rate in the market place available to consumers for a particular booking, allowing for the same booking flexibilities and/or restrictions as determined by RewardsCorp or advised by the hotel or resort.
  9. Each Resort Cheque has a fixed expiry date which is displayed on the Cheque by which all bookings and travel must be undertaken. You'll have up to 12 months to book and travel.
  10. All Resort Cheques can be applied as a partial payment only towards the accommodation, package holiday or cruise rates and prices displayed on the website www.resortgetaways.com.au or published promotion brochure subject to booking and availability. Prices and the information contained on the website www.resortgetaways.com.au or any Retravision Resort Getaways promotional brochure are subject to change without notice. In the event of a discrepancy between rates published in any printed brochure or other materials and the promotion website, the current rates on the promotion website will prevail. The number of nights that you can stay at each resort will vary, depending on the resort selected. The total amount of each Resort Cheque that can be applied towards an accommodation booking is dependent on the resort selected, its location, the type of room selected and the number of nights selected. You will be required to pay the amount that remains outstanding in relation to each accommodation, package holiday or cruise booking. Information in relation to the amount of your Resort Cheques that can be applied towards your accommodation, package holiday or cruise booking and the amounts outstanding that will be payable is available at www.resortgetaways.com.au. Rates for international resorts are subject to exchange rate fluctuations. All accommodation bookings and enquiries must be made through RewardsCorp on 1300 788 668 or online at www.resortgetaways.com.au. All rates are quoted in Australian Dollars unless otherwise stated.
  11. Availability of accommodation, package holidays and cruises are more readily available outside school holidays, public holidays, peak seasons and special events, and exclusions or surcharges may apply during these periods. Please call RewardsCorp on 1300 788 668 or visit www.resortgetaways.com.au for up-to-date availability.
  12. Your Resort Cheques each carry unique serial numbers which are validated and filed with your account at the time of booking. While you will not be required to present your Resort Cheques to the resort at the time of checking in, we recommend you keep them as a record of your booking. Should you lose or misplace any unused Resort Cheques you must advise RewardsCorp immediately on 1300 788 668 and these serial numbers will be cancelled within our central reservations system. Alternative Resort Cheque serial numbers will then be issued to you for future bookings.
  13. Where the value of the accommodation that may be redeemed using a Resort Cheque is less than the total value of the Resort Cheque, the unused portion of the Cheque will be provided to you as a Credit for that amount, and can be used for future Resort Getaways bookings. A Credit is subject to the same Terms and Conditions as a Resort Cheque.
  14. A Hotel Room, Suite or 1 Bedroom Apartment sleeps 2 guests, a 2 Bedroom Suite or Apartment sleeps 4 guests, a 3 Bedroom Apartment or Villa sleeps 6 guests, and a 4 Bedroom Villa sleeps 8 guests, unless stated otherwise. Where necessary extra guests and children will incur a charge for additional bedding. Details on request from RewardsCorp on 1300 788 668.
  15. In the event of a situation whereby RewardsCorp or the resort cannot provide booked accommodation as previously confirmed, for whatever reason, RewardsCorp will undertake to relocate you into an alternative resort of comparable grading at no expense to you. Should there not be a resort of comparable grading in the vicinity of the original booking, it may be required to provide you with a resort of a lesser grading. If this is the case, any reduction in costs will be refunded to you. The alternatives offered are at RewardsCorp's discretion. Should you wish to choose a property of a standard other than offered under this condition, you will be required to pay any difference.
  16. For accommodation bookings payment is required upon confirmation of your requested resort accommodation and booking dates unless you choose the Book Now Pay Later option (see point 17). For international packages including airfares and cruises, payment terms will be advised at the time of booking by our travel consultants. Payment can be made by cheque, money order, bank transfer or with the following credit cards - Visa, MasterCard, (a 1.5% credit card surcharge will apply) or Diners Club, Amex (a 3% credit card surcharge will apply). With payment by cheque, bookings can only be confirmed upon receipt of cleared funds.
  17. Book Now Pay Later is available for any accommodation booking and it must be booked by speaking with one of our consultants by contacting our Call Centre (bookings cannot be made online).  A $50 non-refundable deposit is required at time of reservation to hold your booking.  You are able to pay the balance in one or multiple payments.  Final payment must be made no later than 60 days after your initial deposit or prior to 30 days before check in, whichever comes first. If full payment has not been received before 30 days prior to check-in the booking will be automatically cancelled and your deposit will be forfeited. Amendments to your booking are permitted however normal terms and conditions apply.
  18. Acceptance of your booking is subject to each participating resort's standard conditions of acceptance of guests including, but not limited to, conditions in relation to booking, occupancy, payment and checkout that apply at all times.
  19. Should you cancel your accommodation booking after full payment is made, no refund applies. Resort extras are also non refundable and cannot be amended after your booking has been confirmed. However, you can amend your booking dates for your selected resort as often as you require up to 35 days prior to your booked arrival date, and you can also transfer your accommodation booking to another party, but all changes to bookings outside 35 days will incur a $25 amendment fee. Only name amendments will be permitted within 35 days of arrival at your booked resort. No cancellations or amendments are permitted for "Last minute specials". At the sole discretion of RewardsCorp, and subject to the booked resort and the specific room inventory being utilised for another booking, cancellations and date changes may be permitted within 35 days prior to your booked arrival date, subject to a $100 fee.
  20. Unless stated otherwise, you are responsible for all travel including airfares and/or transport to the relevant participating resort, spending money, mini bar, additional meals and any and all ancillary costs incurred in order to take advantage of your accommodation booking. The rates and information in promotional brochures and catalogues and the www.resortgetaways.com.au website is correct at the time of publication. RewardsCorp reserves the right to amend rates and conditions or withdraw resorts without notice. In the event of a discrepancy between rates published in any printed brochure or other materials and the promotion website, the current rates on the promotion website will prevail.
  21. Retravision, RewardsCorp and the participating resorts and other suppliers shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you as a result of your participation in the promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  22. Your Resort Cheque is transferable to family, friends and work colleagues, but cannot be used to gain financial advantage through being sold, scalped, auctioned, raffled, pledged, redeemed for cash, or promoted as an incentive or reward by any third party as an inducement for any person or other entity to enter into any commercial arrangements with that third party. If your Resort Cheque has been obtained through any of these methods it will not be honoured.
  23. This promotion offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion available through RewardsCorp and/or the participating resorts.
  24. In the event of war, terrorism, political or civil unrest, state of emergency or disaster, Retravision and RewardsCorp reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the offer or your individual Resort Cheque.
  25. By participating in this offer, unless otherwise advised by you, you consent to the information you provide to RewardsCorp being entered into a database and RewardsCorp may use this information in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment or other compensation to you. All personal details of participants will be stored at RewardsCorp's head office.   26. All enquiries and bookings for flights, packages and Fiji Cruises will be processed through our RewardsCorp Group travel agency, The Holiday Centre (Travel Agent Licence No. TA3172360 / IATA 02360956). Other Cruise Packages, are facilitated through our cruise partner 'Our Vacation Centre Pty Ltd' A.B.N. 105 542 176 Travel Licence 3008099 TCF 4/8461. Separate terms and conditions are applicable for all international packages and will be provided at time of booking.
